Procurement and Distribution: Pharmaceuticals
Ohio Pharmacy Services (OPS) provides a diverse array of goods and services which include: pharmaceuticals (to institutions with licensed full-service pharmacies); over-the-counter-medications (available without a prescription); office supplies and forms; laboratory, medical and pharmacy supplies; personal care products (health and beauty products); dispensed inpatient/outpatient pharmaceutical services; and Naloxone/Project DAWN kits (County Health Department Grant Program).
Eligible participants include state facilities, county health departments, community mental health agencies, free clinics, county jails, non-profits, etc. under ORC 5119.44.
Mission
OPS is a highly responsive procurement and distribution organization, providing quality goods and services for essential health and safety needs as legally designated by ORC § 5119.44. Leading edge technologies and purchasing power are used to ensure lower prices and greater savings for the responsible use of public resources.
