Angelika McClelland

Angelika McClelland serves as Deputy Director for Public Affairs and Chief Communications Officer for the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and brings two decades of communications experience and leadership to OhioMHAS. In her current role, McClelland oversees the agency’s internal and external communications, including the legislative, media, and creative services teams. Prior to joining the agency, McClelland served as Communications Director and Special Aide to the President for the Ohio Senate. Prior to her work in the Senate, McClelland managed special projects and events for the Ohio Republican Party and served as manager of external communications for L Brands, Inc. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Social Studies from Bob Jones University and is a 2010 graduate of the Jo Ann Davidson Leadership Institute. She lives with her family in central Ohio.
