At-Home COVID-19 Test Kits Still Available for Class II Residential Providers
At-home COVID-19 test kits are still available for Class II Residential (Adult Care Facility) providers. The kits will be provided by the State of Ohio at no cost to ACF residents, staff, or operators for baseline testing purposes only. Baseline testing will help screen residents and staff for COVID-19 who may be asymptomatic or have been unable to obtain off-site testing for various reasons. To request the at-home COVID-19 testing kits, please contact the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) at
COVID19Housing@mha.ohio.gov. Please include the following information with your request:
- Licensed facility name and address
- Mailing address for testing kits (if different than licensed facility address)
- Licensed operator’s name, date of birth (DOB), phone number, and email
- Number of testing kits for residents
- Number of testing kits for staff

Opiate and Other Drugs Conference – May 11-13
The Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, will host Ohio’s 2021 Opiate and Other Drugs Conference: Exploring Better Pathways for Care on May 11-13. This will be Ohio’s 11th annual Opiate Conference and its first ever virtual Opiate Conference experience. The conference will focus on opiates, stimulants, and other substance use disorders, specifically on efforts related to prevention, education, intervention, treatment, recovery, family supports, community engagement, and more. Hope & Healing 2021 Virtual Speaker and Training Series
The Hope & Healing Survivor Resource Center of Summit County has announced its 2021 Virtual Speaker and Training Series. OhioHealth ENGAGE “In the Driver’s Seat” Free Virtual Classes Throughout Month of May
OhioHealth is offering a four-part series of ENGAGE “In the Driver’s Seat” virtual trainings throughout the month of May. Classes focus on diet and nutrition, physical activity, high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, smoking and tobacco use, and obesity and weight management. Classes will be held May 3, 10, 17, and 24. Participation in all four sessions is required. To participate, send an email to
