>>> I Matter: Free Event for Girls & Their Mentors – Feb. 27

In partnership with The Center for Family Safety & Healing at Nationwide Children's Hospital and the ADAMH Board of Franklin County, Ruling Our eXperiences (ROX) is organizing "I Matter," a free community-wide event for girls in grades 6-12 and their female mentors and caregivers to access resources, education, and support for teen dating relationships. The event, which will feature keynote remarks from professor, musician, author, advocate, and survivor Dr. Elaine Richardson, will take place virtually on Feb. 27 at 10:00 a.m. Click the link for more information and to register.

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) conducted a two-day virtual workshop in late 2021 to assess the state of the science related to suicide prevention training in clinical care with the ultimate goal of preventing suicidal behavior through improved training of providers. The workshop brought together panelists with wide ranging expertise in areas such as intervention development and testing, psychotherapy training, mental health services research, implementation science, health disparities research, suicide-related lived experience, and digital mental health.
