Governor DeWine to Unveil SFY 2022-23 Executive Budget Proposal Today at 1:30 p.m.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted will unveil their SFY 2022-23 Executive Budget proposal today at 1:30 p.m. The presentation will be broadcast live on The Ohio Channel. The Executive Budget "Blue Book" will be posted on budget.ohio.gov at 2:30 p.m. As a reminder, please make plans to join Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) Director Lori Criss Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. for a webinar to highlight ohio the Governor’s budget, including an overview of proposals that specifically impact Ohio’s mental health and addiction services system. National PAX Partner Virtual Training – March 25-26
The Paxis Institute is holding a National PAX Partner Virtual Training on March 25-26. To be eligible, participants must have completed the Pax Good Behavior Game (GBG) training. PAX Partners are able to support teachers with in-depth knowledge and skills to develop Tiered Support for children with higher needs. Research in adult learning indicates that partner-model interventions similar to PAX GBG have better implementation and results as well as improved staff outcome among implementers. Cost is $850, which includes the Pax Partner kit and all training materials. Click HERE to register by March 11.
