Register today for ADAPAO Conference 2020, Racial Justice: The Prevention Intersection, taking place November 9-13, 2020! The annual conference, typically a one-day face-to-face event, is taking place virtually throughout the week, with a keynote presentation on Monday, workshops on Tuesday and Thursday, and a closing program on Friday. The closing program will feature a conference highlight: presentation of the 2020 ADAPAO Awards, recognizing excellence in prevention in Ohio.
The conference will feature experts in prevention, cultural competency, and racial and social justice providing insightful, applicable education and skill development to conference participants. Because the conference is virtual, those attending will have the ability to participate in more programming and earn more CEUs than in a typical one-day ADAPAO Conference.
The conference week will also feature the ADAPAO Social & Prevention Showcase, ADAPAO's signature event highlighting youth prevention leadership and raising funds for ADAPAO's education and advocacy initiatives. The virtual Social & Showcase will take place Thursday, November 12 from 5:00 to 6:30pm and will include presentation of the ADAPAO Youth Prevention Awards. Participation in the Social & Showcase is free this year.
Conference registration is $50 for 2020 ADAPAO members and $75 for non-members.
