Your Benefits

Manage your benefits after you go to work so your needs will continue to be met!

You need accurate information from qualified sources to make informed employment decisions. Work incentives and benefits planners can help you keep the benefits you still need after you go to work and as you begin to move ahead.

The good news is that benefits, including Medicaid, can sometimes continue while needed during employment - it depends on the individual situation. People need the right information to decide what is best for them. They can get the help they need through the services of credentialed work incentives and benefits planners.

The services of credentialed work incentives and benefits planners are available through Supported Employment programs, often based in community mental health agencies throughout Ohio. These services are also provided through Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) Programs listed on Disability Rights Ohio's website.
