Psychiatrist Opportunities

Opportunities for Psychiatrists and forensic psychiatrists are available at our hospital locations in these Ohio cities: Athens, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Massillon and Toledo. In our state system of regional psychiatric hospitals, we treat a culturally diverse population of civil and forensic inpatients and outpatients.

Psychiatrists at the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) regional psychiatric hospitals enjoy competitive salaries, a Monday-to-Friday 40-hour work week, educational loan repayments, comprehensive benefits and paid malpractice insurance. There is no required on-call; however, additional income may be earned through optional weekend and/or overnight on-call duty. Additional benefits include:
