A newly issued White Paper sponsored by the Ohio Mental Illness/Developmental Disability Coordinating Center of Excellence (MIDD CCOE) explores therapeutic approaches to help people with a dual diagnosis. The publication was prepared by Tricia Burke, LISW, president and CEO of Envision, a Cincinnati provider. It was funded by the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services, the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council  and the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. The MIDD CCOE, based at the Wright State University Department of Psychiatry, assists local systems throughout Ohio to increase their service capacity to appropriately treat individuals with co-occuring mental illness and developmental disabilities.
