The Planning Phase
At the MIS User's Group Meeting on August 31, 2004, new reports were presented for review. It was decided that one report with all information would be the way to approach this type of reporting. The one report would have the information by Board, by Provider, by Filename without the difference column so as to not cause any confusion. The number of claims in the file and the number of claims in Diamond were left for the review of Board's and Provider's. It was also decided the report would show all files, included those rejected for whatever reason, and that it would be best if it was a weekly report.
The Current Status
The report has been completed and a complete description is listed below. There will continue to be weekly reports placed on the test web site for the Board's to review. Once a consensus is received that the Board's believe this will be helpful it will be placed on the MACSIS Web Site for all to access. Description of the Report
The two report explanations are listed below. These reports are based on a specified timeframe, which utilizes the date the file was processed. The dates included in the reports are listed at the top of the page of the reports.
Report by Provider (including name and number) by Board (including name and number) by File, the file problem, the process date, number of claims submitted in file, and number of claims in Diamond with that file name.
